The area features a long pebbly beach with crystal-clear water, a row of traditional Greek tavernas along the waterfront, and modern conveniences including supermarkets and banks. More affordable than southern resort areas, with a good selection of family-run apartments and holiday homes. The quieter atmosphere and practical amenities make it suitable for longer stays and remote workers seeking a local community feel.
