Where to Stay in Córdoba

Dense, youthful neighborhood just south of the historic center, full of apartment towers, bars, cafés and university buildings. Very walkable with easy access to parks, museums and nightlife – the main base for many students and nomads.

Up-and-coming barrio across the river from the historic center with renovated townhouses, mid-rise buildings, restaurants and bars. Slightly quieter and more residential than Nueva Córdoba but still close to downtown.

Historic downtown core around Plaza San Martín with colonial architecture, the cathedral, Jesuit Block and government buildings. Busy during the day with offices and shops, quieter at night once businesses close.

Leafy, more upscale residential area in the northwest with low-rise houses, cafés, restaurants and some coworking spaces. Feels safer and calmer than the center, but you will usually rely on buses or taxis to reach downtown.
