Where to Stay in Vilnius

UNESCO-listed Old Town with cobbled streets, baroque churches, courtyards and many cafés, bars and restaurants. Most atmospheric area but also the most touristy and lively at night.

District just south-west of the Old Town with a mix of older apartment blocks, renovated lofts and creative spaces. Good value for money and walking distance or a short ride to the centre.

Leafy, upscale residential neighbourhood on the west bank of the Neris with wooden villas, embassies and quiet streets. Easy access to both the centre and business districts.

Bohemian district across the river from the Old Town, self-declared “Republic of Užupis” with its own constitution, art studios, cafés and galleries. Quirky and creative while still walkable to the centre.
